Matthew Owens

Matthew Owens is a freelance play-by-play and public address announcer based in Walnut Cove, North Carolina. After graduating from Forsyth Tech in Winston-Salem, Matthew has been a play-by-play voice for Appalachian Athletic Conference events ranging from basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball. He has called games for the NAIA Baseball National Championship tournament, and he's been the public address voice for the South Stokes High School Football team since 2016. Matthew also has experience as a track announcer at a local North Carolina racetrack and has also done play-by-play for Chris Paul's CP3 Rising Stars National Camp.
