Mike Peden

With nearly 20 years of broadcasting experience, Mike Peden is one of the leading voices in Twin Cities basketball and beyond, covering the likes of Tayler Hill, Rachel Banham, Paige Bueckers, Tessa Johnson, and many others who put a spotlight on women's sports. Mike's work led to a collaboration with the Minnesota Historical Society for their Girlhood exhibit, featuring interviews with Miss Basketball Minnesota winners and highlights from his extensive coverage of women's basketball. Mike was also a WNBA beat writer for several years, covering the Minnesota Lynx during their championship years. 

Some fun facts: Mike has a photographic memory of fonts and can replicate entire graphic templates from major network sports broadcasts. When he's not on the sports beat, you can find him watching movies, playing a round or two of Mario Kart and brushing up on his word games.
