Sam is a versatile veteran broadcaster, primarily working in the New York City and Philadelphia areas. He has called over 15 NCAA Division I sports for more than 20 different colleges and universities on both the TV and radio sides. Some of the schools Sam most frequently broadcasts include Villanova, St. John’s, Princeton, Saint Joseph’s, Drexel and Delaware.
Sam’s TV calls have been featured on ESPN+, FloSports, NBC Sports Philadelphia, and more. On the radio side, Sam has served as one of the primary voices for Bucknell University from 2021-2023. He broadcast Bucknell football and men’s and women’s basketball for the Bison Sports Network through Learfield.
In addition to his on-air work, Sam has a great passion for teaching broadcasting skills and techniques to the next generation of sportscasters. Since 2019 he’s worked as an instructor at The Sports Broadcasting Camp, the nation’s longest-running sports broadcasting camp.
