TJ Chillot

Thomas "TJ" Chillot is a professional play-by-play broadcaster for the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.   

Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley Region of Eastern Pennsylvania, TJ began his radio career as a studio-host and producer for ESPN Radio of the Lehigh Valley (now FoxSports Radio). While at ESPN Radio TJ worked for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (top affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies) and Lehigh University Athletics. TJ honed his hockey broadcasting skills with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (top affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers). In 2016 TJ became the voice of the Mississippi RiverKings of the Southern Professional Hockey League and in 2017 won the SPHL Broadcaster of the year award.

From 2017-2020 TJ was the voice of the Austin Bruins of the NAHL and won 2 Top Broadcaster of the year awards there.

Since 2021, TJ has been the voice of the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League. Living in the city, you can find TJ at one of the many breweries around town with his fianceé, Sarah, and her pups. TJ CHILLOT - Play-by-play Broadcasting Professional
